TRIO will now offer a number of technology and mobility benefits including:

• Long-term viability due to the use of C# .NET and HTML5 technologies. The current SQL version of TRIO utilizes a technology no longer supported by Microsoft.

• The ability to have multiple TRIO applications open simultaneously, including multiple instances of the same applications, eliminating the need to back out of one application, screen or process to view information in another area.
• A cleaner more modern user interface designed to make the system easier to use and navigate.
• The ability to access TRIO anywhere from any location, 24 x 7, with our Hosted offering.

The entire upgrade process can be easily completed within 2–4 weeks. We will start by creating a TRIO Web Test Environment. There is no impact to your business for this first step, we’ll take a copy of your Live database and create a Test Instance behind the scenes. Once the Test environment is ready, we will provide training, and will work with the Town to help Test your version of TRIO Web. Once TRIO Web has been fully Tested, we will be ready to schedule your Go Live. Go Lives are scheduled outside of business hours where possible. All of our services associated with TRIO Web are done remotely.

Yes, Harris will continue adding additional support staff members to TRIO Team as we upgrade customers to TRIO Web.

Yes, it will be mandatory to upgrade to TRIO Web. At this time, Harris is continuing to support the SQL version of TRIO however we do recommend that all of our customers budget for the TRIO Web upgrade in 2024 or 2025.

We recommend that all of our TRIO customers consider upgrading to TRIO Web as soon as possible. Ideally, TRIO Web should in your budget for 2024 or 2025. TRIO Web is our current version of TRIO and all TRIO enhancements and new features will be in TRIO Web.
